History of MOM
The Meeting of Mazda's (affectionately known as MOM), was started in 2003 by the Miataphiles, a Toronto based Miata enthusiast club. In subsequent years it was hosted by the Toronto Protege Club, the Toronto Mazda 3 Club, the RX-7 and RX-8 Clubs, Mazda Canada and CSCS, and this year will be again hosted by the Toronto Protege Club.
This event was started as a smaller gathering with 50+ cars and their owners gathering together with one common theme in mind, their love and passion for Mazda's. Over the years this event has grown from it's roots being held in a Conservation area, and went on to grow to be hosted at Parks and even the Toronto Motorsports Park. This year the event will be going back to it's roots but staying large in attendance as it returns to a Conservation Area this year.
This event has traditionally included a Show and Shine aspect, which isn't going to change this year, but the goal of the 2010 Meeting of Mazda's event is to make it a Family Friendly event, with lots of games and activities for people of all ages.
